Day 1: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Meet Dorokai Tours and Travels representative at the airport or hotel if already in Uganda, have a briefing on your safari, and start for South Western Uganda via Kampala. You will have stops at places of interest including the equator for photography, Lunch in Mbarara, and proceed to the lodge . Later, take a lazy community walk and visit local hospitals, schools, and craft shops then back to the place of Accommodation.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi.
Takes between 3 – 9 hrs. Following early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on the Gorilla adventure. Grab your walking stick, and drinking water and enter the forest sanctuary in search of Mountain Gorillas. You will be guided by knowledgeable rangers who share detailed information on Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and primate life. Meet the gentle giants and watch them as they interact, take photos and later return to the lodge. No doubt, an hour spent with the Gorillas is an unforgettable experience. Look out for other animals and forest birds including African green pigeons, African harrier hawks, Cinnamon-chested bee-eater, Crowned hornbills,s and Giant kingfisher, visit the Batwa community and have a unique cultural experience. The Batwa are hunter-gatherers who used to live inside Bwindi Forest until park authorities forced them out. You will be told ancient stories and get an insight into their culture and tradition. Return to the lodge
Day 3: Bwindi to Kampala.
After breakfast, drive to Kampala. Lunch en route and proceed to the airport arriving in time for your next international flight
